Support Contact Person/Contact Person Training (as part of a Dignity at Work policy)

Under a Dignity at Work Policy, the Support Contact Person can play a valuable role in helping to resolve issues of bullying and harassment. The Support Contact Person acts as an initial point of contact for employees who have concerns of bullying or harassment and those who may be accused of it. The role is limited to listening, providing support and information in a non-directional way and in complete confidence. A Contact Support Person has no involvement in the investigations of any complaint and does not act as an advocate.
