Novel Coronavirus COVID – 19

Since the novel coronavirus, COVID-19 was first identified in December 2019, new information and advice about the virus is coming onstream daily. A range or organisations in healthcare and scientific communities are sharing vital data and providing up to date information.

Here in Ireland, the government through the Department of Health is leading the national response to COVID – 19. You can access up to date information on the department’s website. The Chief Medical Officer, Dr Tony Holohan, chairs The National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET) which is responsible for monitoring COVID– 19 in Ireland.
