The activities of the HMI are focused on the inclusion and involvement of all healthcare managers. In particular, it provides HMI members with opportunities for networking with other professional healthcare managers across all sectors of the Irish health service.
HMI Service Offering
Regional Structure
HMI’s regional structure, comprising a network of regional committees and events, enables members to participate actively at local level, to build stronger bonds and to network more effectively. Each Regional Committee will host five evening membership events per annum in each of their four regions: Dublin North East, Dublin Mid Leinster, West and South.
Forum for Manager series
The Forum for Manager series, which runs approximately four times per annum in locations nationwide, allows members to attend this series of topical and educational meetings. The forum series provides excellent networking opportunities for managers attending these events.
HMI Discussions, surveys and research
As the voice of healthcare managers in Ireland, HMI regularly conducts research activities in varying areas of healthcare management. As such, members are invited to participate in organised discussions, surveys and research.
