“Managing Health & Personal Social Services in Challenging Times”

30th November 2012

Inish Mór Suite, Carlton Hotel, Dublin Road, Galway

Please note that due to the unavailability of Dr. Ambrose McLoughlin this meeting is now canceled. It will be rescheduled for early 2013.

The Health Management Institute of Ireland (HMI) is pleased to announce the next meeting in our successful Forum for Managers series.

Managers of Healthcare and Personal Social Services are charged with managing and delivering services in an extremely changing and challenging environment. Demand for services is ever increasing and managers must ensure that they respond to this increasing demand by providing additional services with less resources in an efficient and cost effective manner. This forum explores breaking the mould in service delivery and performance and also reviews the recently published Value For Money and Policy Review of Disability Services in Ireland.

The Forum will commence as per the timetable below. Following the presentations, managers will have plenty of opportunity to participate in discussion with a question and answer session.

13.30 Registration (Tea/Coffee)
14.00 Welcome & Opening of Forum
