With the new role of the Physician Associate (PA) professional emerging in the Irish health services there have been some significant developments. Firstly, Beaumont Hospital launched a PA pilot programme earlier this year. In January, the RCSI will commence a new postgraduate training programme for PAs. HMI is delighted that David Kuhns will address our next regional meeting to share some insights and to discuss what the future may hold.
