‘Pandemic (H1N1) 2009′: Guide for employers and employees’ DVD

Pandemic (H1N1) 2009 (Swine Flu) presents a significant challenge to organisations including managing absence; reduced workforce; general operational difficulties and the associated costs relating to each.

In response to the Pandemic (H1N1) 2009 (Swine Flu) outbreak, HMI has developed this personal skills DVD. It provides vital information relating to Pandemic (H1N1) 2009 (Swine Flu) including: recognising the signs and symptoms; understanding how the virus spreads; and the simple steps that everyone can take to prevent the spread of the virus including the use of tissues, cough etiquette and hand hygiene. The DVD can be used as part of a facilitated group training session.

Development of the DVD was guided by best practice recommendations made by leading experts in the field of infection control.
