HISI 16th Annual Conference (2011)

Healthcare Informatics Society of Ireland

The 16th Annual Conference and Scientific Symposium, Ireland’s premier healthcare informatics will take place on 16th – 17th November 2010 in the Stillorgan Park Hotel, Stillorgan Road, Co. Dublin.

This year’s HISI Conference and Scientific Symposium will reflect current developments in the healthcare computing, associated technologies and communications infrastructures within Ireland and in the wider international context.

The Objectives of HISI

The Objectives, as set out in the Constitution, are:

  • To develop and disseminate knowledge of the use of informatics in health care.
  • To promote research and education in health care informatics.
  • To participate internationally with bodies of similar interests.
  • In pursuit of the third objective, the Healthcare Informatics Society of Ireland has been accepted as a member of the European Federation for Medical Informatics, and the International Medical Informatics Association.
